In short: MinMax suggests which of your cards to use based on published reward rates. Rates and rules change, so check important purchases with your card issuer. MinMax is not financial advice and is not affiliated with any bank.
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and MinMax Rewards LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the MinMax app or this website, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use MinMax.
2. What MinMax does
MinMax shows which of the credit cards you select earns the most rewards in different spending categories, along with notes such as store exclusions and bonuses that need activation. It works from reward information that card issuers publish, which we collect and summarize.
3. Information may be incomplete or out of date
Card issuers change rates, categories, caps and rules, sometimes without notice, and a store may be classified differently than you expect. We work to keep MinMax accurate, but we don't guarantee that any rate, category or recommendation is correct, complete or current. Your card's terms from your issuer always control. If you see an error, please use "Report wrong info" in the app.
4. Not financial advice
MinMax is an information tool. It does not give financial, credit, tax or legal advice, and it does not recommend applying for, keeping or closing any card. Decisions about your cards, spending and credit are yours.
5. No affiliation
MinMax is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any bank, card issuer or card network. Card and company names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify their products. In the future we may earn a referral fee if you apply for a card through a link in MinMax; if so, we will say so where the link appears.
6. Using MinMax
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app for your own non-commercial purposes, under these terms and the terms of the app store you downloaded it from. Please don't copy, resell, scrape or reverse-engineer MinMax, or use it in a way that breaks the law or harms others. The app, its design and its content belong to MinMax Rewards LLC.
7. Paid features
MinMax is free today. If we offer paid features later, they will be sold through the App Store or Google Play, whose terms will govern payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds. We will describe the price and what is included before you buy.
8. Disclaimer
MinMax is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, MinMax Rewards LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost rewards, points, cash back, fees or interest, arising from your use of MinMax or reliance on its information. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for MinMax in the 12 months before the claim, or $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
10. Changes and ending
We may update MinMax and these terms. If we make material changes to the terms, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you in the app. You can stop using MinMax at any time by deleting it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
